Jeff Clark - CEO & Founder

- Jeff’s ability to analyze a problem or an existing model and create innovative solutions has allowed him to be a founder or major contributor to several companies over his career. After getting his CPA and experience in the fund of fund world, he ran his own hedge funds, established JD Clark & Company and served as its Chairman and CEO for 22 years, and helped develop leading software in the hedge fund industry. After selling his company, he was free to focus his time on his passion for philanthropy. He has invested in, served on the board of directors, and in several cases been the CFO for a range of companies that focus on seeking to solve the world’s most difficult issues. Jeff’s extensive experience and his affinity for problem solving are the foundation for Praesideo Fund Services. Despite his current involvement in multiple ventures, Jeff finds time to travel with his wife, spoil his grandchildren, and loves to spend time outside biking and skiing.

Cynthia Paget - Senior Controller/Accounting Manager

- Cynthia’s ability to multitask, problem solve and learn quickly have made things run smoothly for Praesideo for the past 14 years. She previously worked at JD Clark & Company which gave her the knowledge in private equity funds to make the fund administrative portion of Praesideo’s business a success. She can delve into the details and also see the big picture, which allows her a balanced perspective of how to best take care of Praesideo’s clients. She believes that hard, honest work is the base for a successful company and that mantra fuels her home life as well, as she raises four boys and finds time to bake, craft and garden on the side.

Tami Slater - Fund Accountant

- Tami’s love of numbers and attention to detail make her a great fit for the specialized administration Praesideo offers for private equity funds. She is newly returned to the work force after some time off for her family, who is her greatest joy. Her background is accounting in the oil and gas industry where she worked for several years after being a staff accountant at James and Co, CPA, focusing on taxes for individuals and small businesses. Tami enjoys volunteering at a nearby elementary school as a library aide and a math tutor, because she gets to share her love of reading and numbers with the students.

Megan Clayton - Fund Accountant

- Megan previously worked as a central billing coordinator and corporate staff accountant in the healthcare industry for 5 years and in the real estate industry for 2 years. Her experience in various types of accounting and her love of puzzles helps her problem solve and understand how to best take care of the diversified clients of Praesideo. Megan knows how to take the initiative and get things done, which contributes to her value as an employee, and allows her opportunities to write stories, draw, and read in addition to taking care of and spending time with her young family.

Marie Tarr - Clerical Accountant

- Marie loves accounting because it has order, and her affinity for order and organization shows as she takes care of all of the day to day processes for the office, including invoicing, paying bills, and bank reconciliations for multiple companies. After working as a bookkeeper in South Africa for 17 years, she immigrated to the United States in 2006 and worked at JD Clark & Company for 3 years until she transferred to Praesideo in 2009. Marie enjoys creating things with her hands, such as crocheting, knitting and painting, but her greatest love is to travel.

Neil Dennis - Lead Software Developer

- Neil has over 40 years of experience in the programming industry from low level machine code to high languages. He has worked in over 60 different computer programming languages and does full stack programming in a variety of languages. Neil’s love of computers and everything about them has led him to stay up to date with changes in computer science and technologies. He even loves to read programming language manuals in his free time and wishes he had more time to build robots, but sometimes he’ll leave the computer world to enjoy the beach and the tropics.
